Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2003 im Fachbereich Germanistik - Neuere Deutsche Literatur, Note: 2,0, Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster (Institut für Deutsche Philologie), Veranstaltung: Grimmelshausens „Courasche“ - Eine Einführung in die Literatur des Barock, 9 Quellen im Literaturverzeichnis, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: In den Augen Bert Brechts sei Grimmelshausen „der erste und der repräsentativste Vertreter der Anti- Kriegsliteratur in deutscher Sprache“ gewesen(1). Auch in der Forschung ist Grimmelshausen inzwischen als solcher anerkannt. Er vermittele ein „realistisches Bild des Kriegsgeschehens und des soldatischen Alltags“, so Ferdinand von Ingen(2). Bei der Einschätzung Grimmelshausens als Anti-Kriegs- Autor stehen vor allem der Simplicissimus Teutsch und der Satyrische Pilgram im Vordergrund, aber auch der Courasche wird in dieser Hinsicht eine gewisse Bedeutung beigemessen.
Die folgende Hausarbeit beschäftigt sich mit der Darstellung des Krieges in Grimmelshausens Courasche. Einleitend werde ich anhand der Forschungsliteratur kurz auf den Kriegsaspekt in einigen anderen Schriften Grimmelshausens und auf den Autor eingehen. Um anschließend der Frage nachzugehen, welches Bild vom Krieg Grimmelshausen in der Courasche zeichnet, werde ich vorrangig die Beziehung zwischen der Protagonistin und dem Krieg untersuchen. Diese Beziehung wird durch verschiedene Aspekte bestimmt. Diese Komponenten sind aber alle eng miteinander verbunden und können nicht vollkommen losgelöst voneinander betrachtet werden. Deshalb wird die Analyse einem fortlaufenden Argumentationsgang folgen und nicht in einzelne Thesen oder Kapitel unterteilt werden. Wichtig bei der Analyse ist es, zu beachten, dass der Roman aus einer Ich- Perspektive erzählt wird und dass die Aussagen der Courasche von denen des Autors zu trennen sind. Die in dieser Analyse gewonnenen Ergebnisse werde ich in einem Schlussteil noch einmal zusammenfassen, vertiefen und mit Hilfe der Forschungsliteratur stützen.
Die Hausarbeit bezieht sich auf die von Günther Weydt und Klaus Haberkamm herausgegebene Reclam- Ausgabe der Courasche aus dem Jahr 1971(3).
