Anschließend werden die speziellen Werkzeuge, die sie brauchen, um das Internet überhaupt nutzen zu können, beschrieben und bewertet.
Danach folgt eine Analyse, warum Sehgeschädigte im Internet vielfach an Grenzen stoßen und eine Erläuterung, wie die rechtliche Situation bezüglich Sehgeschädigter im Internet aussieht. Abschließend werden 10 Regeln vorgestellt, mit deren Hilfe es Webseitenanbietern gelingen soll, eine barrierefreie Seite zu erstellen.
Aufgrund der Aktualität des Themas kann man nur wenig Print-Literatur finden, der Großteil der verwendeten Literatur stammt daher aus dem Internet. Beim Verfassen der Arbeit mussten die Schwerpunkte so gesetzt werden, dass der Rahmen der Arbeit nicht gesprengt wird. Daher kann die Arbeit auch nur einen Überblick geben. Weiterführende Informationen zum Thema kann man auf den im Literaturverzeichnis angegebenen Webseiten finden.
