Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2002 im Fachbereich Pädagogik - Der Lehrer / Pädagoge, Note: 1, Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz (Pädagogisches Institut), Veranstaltung: Proseminar: Einführung in die Schulpädagogik, 6 Quellen im Literaturverzeichnis, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Um einen Überblick über das Thema "Lehrerinnen und Lehrer“ zu geben, ist es zum besseren Verständnis sinnvoll, zunächst das allgemeine System, in dem Männer und Frauen in unserer Gesellschaft leben, kurz zu skizzieren. Aus diesem Grund werde ich im ersten Teil die vorherrschende geschlechtsspezifische Arbeitsteilung darstellen. Zu diesem Themengebiet werde ich zunächst die Sozialisationsbedingungen für Kinder erläutern, da hier die Grundsteine für geschlechtsspezifisches Verhalten von Männern und Frauen gelegt werden. Unter Gliederungspunkt 1.2. werde ich die Entstehung der geschlechtsspezifischen Arbeitsteilung darstellen, durch die die Gesellschaft vor allem seit der Industrialisierung im 18. und 19. Jahrhundert geprägt ist. Im Folgendem werde ich die Rückeroberung der Berufstätigkeit von Frauen erläutern und dann zur geschlechtsspezifischen Arbeitsteilung im Berufsleben kommen, denn Frauen und Männer sind größtenteils in verschiedenen Arbeitsbereichen tätig, die wiederum oft jeweils der männlichen oder weiblichen Identität entsprechen.
Der zweite Teil befasst sich dann mit der geschlechtsspezifischen Arbeitsteilung im Lehrberuf. Hier stellt sich die Frage, ob die zuvor erörterte Aufgabenteilung von Männern und Frauen im Berufsleben sich auf die Ausübung des Lehrberufs fortsetzen lässt, denn schließlich üben beide Geschlechter hier den selben Beruf aus. Um dieses herauszufinden, werde ich folgende Punkte, die über eine unterschiedliche Berufsausübung von Lehrern und Lehrerinnen Aufschluss geben können, darstellen: Zum ersten die Verteilung von Lehrerinnen und Lehrern auf die verschiedenen Schulstufen, zum zweiten ihre Verteilung innerhalb der Institution Schule, also welche Aufgaben sie in der Schule wahrnehmen und welche Fächer sie unterrichten, und vor allem ob Lehrerinnen und Lehrer sich im Unterricht nach geschlechtsspezifischen Mustern verhalten. Der nächste Punkt befasst sich dann mit der Motivation, die Männer und Frauen haben, den Lehrberuf zu ergreifen. Zum Ende werde die ich die für berufstätige Frauen typische Doppelbelastung und ihre möglichen Auswirkungen auf die Berufsausübung von Lehrerinnen darstellen.
