Was sind Fließgewässer? Wodurch sind sie gekennzeichnet? Im folgenden Abschnitt werde ich die verschiedenen Subhabitate der Fließgewässer vorstellen und spezielle Organismengruppen einordnen. Im 4. Kapitel möchte ich Maßnahmen des Flussausbaus vorstellen, um dann auf Folgen für die Tier- und Pflanzenwelt, sowie deren Diversität einzugehen. Den Abschluss soll die Vorstellung renaturierender Maßnahmen bilden. Dabei möchte ich einige Regeln aufzeigen, die beachtet werden müssen, um ausgebaute Flüsse wieder in ihren Naturzustand zurückzuführen oder Flüsse naturgemäß auszubauen.
